Siri ist erschreckend gut

Siri ist ein Programms, das mit dem neuen Iphone 4S geliefert wird. Dabei handelt es sich um eine Spracherkennung, mit der man das Iphone steuern, Termine anlegen, wählen, SMS und E-Mails diktieren kann.

In meinem Leben habe ich schon einige Versuche in Richtung Spracherkennung miterlebt: Bisher hat nichts richtig funktioniert. Am Samstag habe ich bei einem Freund miterlebt, wie Siri funktioniert. Er hat eine E-Mail diktiert und dabei ganz normal (sogar eher schnell) gesprochen. Ergebnis war eine halbe Seite perfekter Text. Ein einziges Worte stimmte nicht (in statt hin), die anderen mehr als 100 Worte stimmten exakt. Ich war total beindruckt.

Iphone 3Gs behalten und Tarif wechseln oder neues Iphone?

Ich habe im Moment noch einen Telekom Tarif für mein Iphone 3Gs, denn damals gab es das Iphone nur von der Telekom. Anfang 2012 läuft er aus und ich habe ihn schon gekündigt. Das wäre natürlich eine gute Gelegenheit, mir eine neues Iphone mit Siri zu besorgen. Aber: So wichtig ist mir das nicht. Ist zwar ein sehr geiles Feature, hat aber noch 2 Jahre Zeit, bis ich’s haben will.

Für den Moment nehme ich lieber einen günstigeren Tarif für mein Iphone 3Gs. Ein Freund hat mir einen Tarif von 1 & 1 empfohlen, der wirklich günstig ist: Eine Flat für Internet, Festnetz und Mobil für 29 EUR im Monat bei 24 Monaten Laufzeit. Geht auch mit 1 Monat Laufzeit, dann halt teurer.

Nachdem Thorsten mich für NextBig interviewed hat (Link zum Interview über Mini-GmbH Projekt) habe ich bemerkt, dass er ein Portal zum Thema Smartphone Tarife betreibt. Wenn ich die schon vorher gekannt hätte, hätte ich wahrscheinlich dort meinen neuen Tarif gesucht.

Sonstige News: Burning Man Ticket Lotterie

Burning Man ist immer noch die schönste Zeit des Jahres. Dieses Jahr wird die Ticketvergabe ausgelost, damit alle eine faire Chance haben. Es lohnt sich also, schon Anfang 2012 die Absicht klar zu kriegen im August in der Black Rock Wüste wunderschöne Begegnungen zu erleben!
